Compared to other parts of Egypt, the dives here are more adventurous and varied. Ras Mohamed National Park showcases a stunning array of marine life and underwater landscapes. Encounter colorful coral gardens, turtles, swirling schools of fish, and even the occasional reef shark. Don’t miss the dive sites like Shark Reef and Yolanda Reef for unforgettable diving experiences. There is arguably no diver who wouldn’t want to visit this one of the top-rated dive sites over and over again. The Shark and Yolanda reef site features walls, different species of corals, the possibility of seeing sharks, manta rays, tunas and so much more. You will also see the remnants of a cargo ship sunk with loads of toilets… yes, toilets galore!

Ras Mohamed National Park is an uninhabited area and in season (March to November) it is possible to camp and dive in solitude from the shore. As it is a protected area, the corals are breathtakingly beautiful, colorful and full of life.

The Straits of Tiran

Situated at the entrance of the Gulf of Aqaba, Tiran Island is a diver’s playground teeming with marine biodiversity. Explore iconic sites like Jackson Reef, where you can witness mesmerizing coral formations and encounter fascinating species such as barracudas, moray eels, eagle rays, and reef sharks. It is also home to several shipwrecks like the Panamanian cargo ship Loullis or the awesome Million Hope. The sea conditions are not always favorable to dive the Million Hope, but when it does, we make sure to dive this awesome wreck on our scuba trips in the area.
